Get Involved in the Children’s Book Club
Whether it’s paying for a school lunch or receiving a weekly allowance, children are aware of money. As a way to help teach the importance of learning proper personal finance at an early age, TSCPA’s Children’s Book Club keeps them reading and learning that money really doesn’t grow on trees.
Participate in the book club by reading one or more of the selected books with your child. You can also print off downloadable materials such as bookmarks, posters, or a list of low-cost or no-cost family financial literacy activities.
Encourage your children to learn and read for fun outside of the classroom.
